This short video explains the three different types of document workflows available in one2edit:
- Editing a master document: the master InDesign document itself is edited/translated and reviewed. You would use this workflow for collaborative editing and review of the final draft of a master document.
- Editing a version document: copies of the master InDesign document are edited/translated and reviewed. You would use this workflow when creating translated versions of your master or source language document.
- Editing a template based on a master InDesign document: a copy of a posted template document is edited and reviewed. You would use this workflow in a brand management scenario when you’re making corporate templates available for field offices, franchises, stores, etc. to use to create their own marketing collateral.
In all three of these workflows, late stage layout, design, or content changes to the master document are pushed out to the edit/translation jobs in progress, so you’re always working on the latest version of the job in one2edit’s editor.
